Innovators

Today in CBL we were looking at the difference between an innovator and an inventor.  We decided that our definition was that an inventor came up with something new, while an innovator looked at how we could improve or change something that had already been invented.

We looked at the example of the chair.  From it's original invention to give us something to sit on, we now have hundreds of innovations on this, meeting that need in a different way.

We looked at the Wiggle chair, developed by Frank O. Gehry.  It was made from cardboard, and was a very different take on the original chair.

As well as making furniture, Gehry was an architect.  What famous buildings did he design?
