This was a similar story to what we read about last week, reading about another innovation that is good for the environment. We were working on our learning goal of making predictions. We made predictions based on the title, then based on the title and the first paragraph, and then again after reading the first page. We found that our predictions changed as we got more information from the text.
When making a prediction, we use
- Information from the story so far
- Information from our prior experiences
- Information from other similar stories we have read.
